My Story

In 1987 I qualified as a teacher of the deaf and I worked full time as a teacher/ teacher of the deaf until a few years ago, for many of those years living and working in Spain with my son.

When we returned to the UK I worked as a peripatetic teacher of the deaf in Warwickshire for several years and during this time I also trained as a Reiki practitioner.

In 2017 I completed my training at the Holistic Healing College in London and set up my own business, Pathfinder Holistic Healing, offering spiritual counselling, Soul Plan Reading and healing therapies.

I went on to do additional qualifications in Advanced Soul Plan Reading, Soul Transformation Therapy and Qigong and eventually gave up teaching completely to concentrate on my business. 

After various synchronous events, I realised that I was being pushed by the Universe to train as a Celebrant and, after moving back to Lancashire, I completed training with the UK Society of Celebrants, going on to specialise in funerals and then to train as an End of Life Doula. My celebrant and doula work feels like a natural progression and extension of my holistic business and I find many parallels between the two businesses that I now run alongside each other.
